Coach Driver's Policy

This policy has been written to clarify Welcome Break’s policy on rewarding loyal coach drivers when visiting any Welcome Break Motorway Service Area (MSA).

Coach Drivers

When calling at a Welcome Break MSA with passenger's you are invited to eat at any of our food outlets i.e. Eat In, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, or Coffee Primo, for the nominal charge of 1p (excludes McDonalds). 

This entitles you to a main meal, a hot or cold beverage and a dessert, to be consumed in the dining area.

In the spirit of mutual benefit we would ask that food is not be taken off the premises, should you wish take your drink from your entitlement we are happy for you to do so. However, we cannot support additional beverages outside of your entitlement. The entitlement may only be used once in any 3 hour period

Coach Driver’s Host/Hostess

We also invite your coach host/hostess to enjoy a meal of their choice, subject to the same conditions as the Coach Driver (above).

Loyalty Rewards

It is our intention to reward those Coach Drivers who bring customers in to our business.  Therefore, whenever you do, you will be rewarded, via the restaurant with Welcome Break reward scratch cards ranging from £2 to £4 per visit.  The amount given is at the discretion of the site General Manager and may vary from site to site and from day to day. Vouchers are for the benefit of the Coach driver exclusively.

  • Only one Coach Driver per coach will receive vouchers
  • Coach Drivers must be traveling with passengers to receive a reward scratch card
  • Whenever possible, you will be informed of each MSA’s current voucher value/issuance

Identification

In all instances the Coach Driver and Host/Hostess will be required to produce a valid 'Coach Drivers Club Card'. This enables us to identify our frequent visitors i.e. Super Users', who may qualify for other rewards.If you are not a member of the coach driver club you will be required to join to benefit from this scheme

Abuse of benefits

Any evidence of abuse will result in all rights being removed and the Coach Driver or Coach Host or Hostess's employer being informed.
