WELCOME BREAKS

Hotel manager Donna Ashby has won a £15,000 Mini Cooper car - thanks to her excellent business skills.

Donna (pictured) manages the hotel at Welcome Break's London Gateway service area on the M1.

She beat off the challenge of Managers at the company's other sites in a competition aimed at highlighting increases in sales over a three-month period.

Welcome Break's Chief Executive Rod McKie presented Donna with her car.

Donna said: "I am delighted to have won the car and it is great recognition for myself and my staff at the hotel at London Gateway."

Rod McKie added: "Donna is very important to the success of London Gateway and she thoroughly deserves to have won the car for the excellent way in which she manages the hotel at all times"
