MINI COOPERS FOR EIGHT WELCOME BREAK MANAGERS
Eight Welcome Break managers won Mini Cooper cars worth £15,000 each - thanks to their excellent business skills.
Welcome Break, which has 26 sites across the UK motorway network, presented the cars to the managers who had achieved the best increases in sales over a three-month period.
The managers were chosen from the company's different sectors; food and drink, retail, forecourt, hotels and leisure.
Chief Executive Rod McKie said: "Our unit managers work extremely hard and are vital to the overall success of the business. We are delighted to recognise their efforts and business skills in achieving excellent sales figures by presenting them with their own Mini Cooper car."
The winning unit managers were Donna Ashby, Derek Merryweather, Darran Carl, Kevin Weeks, Andy McLaren, Jon Barrett, Roland Palla and David Bastin.
A Mini Cooper was also presented to Lee Birchnall, who is responsible for the Burger King outlets across the company's service areas.
