COFFEE SHOP MANAGER WINS MINI COOPER!

Cofee Primo manager David Bastin has won a £15,000 Mini Cooper car - thanks to his excellent business skills.

David Bastin manages the Coffee Primo outlet at Welcome Break's Warwick (south) service area on the M40, and beat off the challenge of managers at the company's other sites in a competition aimed at highlighting increases in sales over a three month period.

Welcome Break's Chief Executive Rod McKie presented David with his prize.  "David is very important to the success of Warwick and he thoroughly deserves to have won the car for the excellent way in which he manages the Coffee Primo outlet at all times."

"I am delighted to have won.  It's great recognition for myself and my staff at Coffee Primo in Warwick," said David on winning.

A Coffee Primo will soon be appearing at Eurotunnel's Passenger Terminal Building with Welcome Break having announced the signing of contracts with Eurotunnel to operate the catering facilities at its Passenger Terminal Building in Folkestone for at least seven years.  Welcome Break will be investing in an improved and expanded seating area, and introducing a Coffee Primo.  The new unit should open by the end of April 2007 (the Folkestone PTB serves around four million passengers a year).
