Your safety behind the wheel is of paramount importance to us at Welcome Break so please make sure your vehicle is road worthy before starting any journey and follow these simple tips for a safer, more comfortable trip.
Before setting off take a few minutes to check there aren't any problems on your intended route.
Remember to take regular breaks from driving - tiredness and loss of concentration are major contributing factors to road accidents.
Keep a minimum 2 second gap between you and the car in front. 4 seconds in bad weather.
Check Welcome Break's on site plasma screens for up to date traffic information during your stop.
Talk to one of the RAC representatives on site for any motoring query you may have.
They are there to help.
Obey the speed limits on the motorway including lower ones for congestion, bad weather or road works.
