Easter’s here! And here’s hoping the Arctic winds have finally waned, so you and the family will be looking for hop out and enjoy some (dare we say) Spring weather?!

The World Class Eden Project is holding a number of kids activities across Easter, including egg hunts and other activities for the kids. It’s a long trip for most of us, but Eden is awe inspiring and this country’s true wonders. The Eden project is located close to St Austell Cornwall. There are admission fees and we advise buying your ticket in advance here.

The Cadbury Egg Hunt is coming to Brownsea Island this year, giving you the chance to enjoy a really unique National Trust attraction, nestled in beautiful Poole Harbour. The island is a unique ecosystem and one of the few habitats for the Red Squirrel. Accessible via a regular passenger ferry, the Island is open to the public visitors throughout the Easter holidays. Ferry details can be found here. Additional charges apply to visit the island – more details can be found here.

Our closest Welcome Break location to Poole is Fleet on the M3. The hotel is fully open, whilst temporary service facilities are available on our Southbound site. You can book a Days Inn hotel room here.

Enjoying its 950th anniversary this year, Warwick Castle is a great place to get into the Easter spirit, with a proper historical twist. And with the little ones occupied, you can enjoy the remarkable sights of one of Britain’s truly outstanding historical venues.
