When visiting a Welcome Break from 19th July, rules will vary between England, Scotland and Wales. We require all customers to wear a mask in ALL of our amenity buildings and to register through the NHS Track & Tracing app when using our seating areas, all of which are open. This applies to England, Scotland and Wales locations.
This simple guide will explain the rules between the 3 countries, enabling you to plan your visit accordingly.

There will also be:
– Enhanced cleaning measures which seek to disinfect high-frequency touch points, such as service counter, door handles, flush handles and taps
– We have installed new hygiene screens at many of our service counters to help physical separate customers from team members
– Contactless payment limit of £45.
Yes, all customers will need to wear a face covering inside our amenity and forecourt buildings. Face coverings are not required for children under the age of 11 and for people with certain health conditions and / or disabilities. In addition, customers will see our team members wearing Personal Protective Equipment including face coverings. Further, to help separate customers from team members we have installed new hygiene screens at many of our service counters.

Seating in our main amenity buildings at our motorway service areas are open across ALL our sites. Customers using seating areas are requested to register through the NHS Track & Trace app.
