A safely served welcome
All of our sites are open, serving your favourite brands. All customers will have access to food, drink, toilets, showers and fuel at every Welcome Break, 24/7, whilst we’re following Government and HSE England advice on safe distancing measures to keep you and our staff safe.
We are also offering safe seating areas, for use by one household only. This facility is available at ALL Welcome Break locations, with the exception of all our Starbucks Drive Thru outlets and all seating facilities at Peartree A34 and Rothwell Truck Stop A14.

On entering our sites, you will see that we have reconfigured our layout to enable customers to navigate around the building and adhere to safe distancing guidelines. We call this our ‘Safe Customer Journey’, protecting you whenever you visit a Welcome Break site. We’ve provided an outline of the measures below, and the requests we make of our customers, to help us all stay safe.

Our Safely Served Customer Journey
As you enter our amenity buildings, we ask you to please keep a safe distance from other customers and teams and follow the signage guiding you throughout the building.
We’ve provided sanitiser for all our customers and where contactless screens are available, we encourage you to use them. You will be placed in a safe distance queue when you’re ready to collect your order, whilst we request you to use contactless payment options.
We’ve opened some of our seating areas, with each table safely distanced and cleaned between use. We request tables are only used by customers from the same household or safe bubble.
Track and Trace
We ask customers using our seating areas to register their details for the UK Government’s Track & Trace system at all of our locations. You can register by scanning the QR codes on posters displayed throughout our sites. You can also check in using the URL TRCK.TO and entering the unique location code which is displayed on the posters.
All data will be held securely for 21 days and then deleted unless you opt-in to receive marketing updates from us.
We are also supporting use of the NHS Covid-19 app, for customers in England, Wales or Scotland. Simply scan the QR code on site to register whilst in one of our locations.
All of our washrooms remain open, with safe distancing measures in place. Some facilities will restricted to support this. We encourage customers to maintain safe distancing and follow any guidance, on signage, when you enter.
We’re also frequently sanitising high traffic areas and touch points, to keep you safe on your journeys.
